I have only used Zerg since the game came out but I must admit that they seem kinda underpowered to me. Except for Mutalisks which I would say are Zerg's best unit. I would also have to say that I think Terran has the most versatility and could win any even TvP or TvZ match.

Yeah. NO real unit stands out for Zerg. They seem to me mostly about macro and getting a large army. They seem good early game with Zerglings. I think I'd like Protoss because of pylons. You can place them in the randomest places. They're great for offense so that you can immediately send in reinforcements without them having to run across the map. One good thing about Zerg is creep, though. It really helps you look around the map and see what's coming. They also seem to be the easiest to expand quickly with. Though it seems you have to expand quickly to keep up with Terran and Protoss.
And I only know that from watching youtube videos. XD

Yes a lot of it is micro. Zerg units move fast. I played a lot of ladder games in Warcraft 3 so i have a slight idea the kind of micro it takes but I am nowhere near an expert in micro and so it might be just me who fails (I do still win more than I lose) but I don't have the micro that I think it takes become an epic Zerg player. Oh well I'll play more and get better. This is not to say i suck I am in the Diamond League in 3s but then again, that aint 1v1 it's 3v3. Either way the nice fast expo works very nice and keep me getting lots of minerals and gas that I so desperately need to stay afloat.

Zerglings mainly need micro to get into position. You NEVER want to go in a small alley with a Zealot in the way because your Zerglings can't get a good surround, which is the only hope Zerglings have against Zealots. And as long as you're playing for fun, who cares about rankings? Not that it's not cool to be high-ranked on something.

Yes I am having lots of fun. However, I can admit it's always nicer to win than lose.

If you're ever on bad playing day, just go on 2v2 and do some crazy build. Even if you lose, it will be hilarious!

The story is cliche as hell, but I don't care. My favorite mission so far is the Outbreak one. Friggin hectic at the end, and I got an achievement for finishing early. Woot woot!
