Nintendo just announced that Wii Sports Club will be released on Novemeber 7th. It features 5 HD remade original Wii Sports minigames with online 'club based' functionality. The game will feature a competitve league of sorts, allowing you to compete with different regional or state clubs around the world.

Upon it's release, only Tennis and bowling will be available, but they do plan to add more soon. You can download the game 'hub' for free, but each sport must be bought individually for $8.99 each, or you can buy a 1 day pass for $1.99.

I think the online league idea is brilliant. It makes it a lot more competitive.

I really hope Nintendo integrates this league idea into other games. Imagine a Smash Bros. or Mario Kart regional league. :D

$9 for each sport? I'll pass too. Maybe if it was only $1 or $2 per sport. But otherwise, no.

Yeah the price point is a little odd...I imagine they put a lot of work into it but still. I wouldn't pay 9 bucks for even most full-fledged sports games.

It's more than likely they'll get a discount eventually. eShop has sales alot.

I am passing for the time being because i plan to be busy with my retail copy of Wind Waker HD for my Wii U once i receive it, because i ordered it before the shipping date that way i can hopefully receive it the day of or the day after they put their stock of this game out on their shelves.

No their stock of TWW HD sorry if you misunderstood what I was saying. I am passing on Wii Sports Club until after I have played and enjoyed my copy of TWW HD.

Wait, you have to buy it all seperately?

Remember when games used to be one, completely solid thing?

It'd be nice if they did that wouldn't it? But so far it doesn't seem like they will.

Well Wii Sports Club is out now and I have my Bowling forever on it. I spent 10.96 to get unlimited use of the Bowling too.

So I have like 9.47 left on my Wii U eShop for whatever else I want later too. I will have to wait on Earthbound until I get more points or until Nintendo offers a discount on it.

But if you are on my Wii U Friend List and have the Bowling part of Wii Sports Club then join me for a game at 5 PM Est.
