My oldest console is the N64, and my oldest handheld is the original Gameboy

Well, I am now here to report that the SNES I intended to buy was dropped down a flight of stairs minutes before I arrived to purchase it, so the guy felt bad and just gave it to me for free because it wouldn't turn on anymore. So now I'm stuck staring at 6 awesome SNES games with no way to play them. :(

I did just order a GameBit from Ebay though, so as soon as I get it I'm gonna rip open the system and see if I can't fix it up nice and good :bono:

Ouch!, not a pretty sight...especially when you intended to play it the very moment you got home. :P

My SNES is nestled safely in my closet in it's original box. :awesome:

The oldest console I own would have to be the NES, followed by an original Game Boy. I sort of... "Inherited" the NES from my family over the years, as I proved to be the most dedicated gamer of the house. I also bought one from a second hand shop a couple years back for $5, since the original stopped working :(

I bought the Game Boy (Or Game Boys, as I have two) from a flea market. Both work just fine, although a few rows and columns of pixels are dead on both of them (The second one's a little better, though).

I fixed both NESs that I own. NESs? Is that the correct pluralization of NES? :?

I think NES is its own plural. Like sheep.

...I just accurately linked the NES to sheep for probably the first time ever.

To be honest, I think my first system was the Nintendo64. I wasn't born in the correct generation to get my hands on an NES or anything of that sort.

No, no, that sounds weird. I have two NES?

Since I'm cool and actually pronounce it as Ness... <_< I say NESes.

Nintendo consoles are rarely easily pluralized. NES, SNES, Wii, Nintendo DS...

Actually, Nintendo's official pluralization for the Wii is "Wii systems" or "Wii consoles". No, really, they issued a press release for this.

My next oldest console is the original Game Boy.

The Game Boy's actually older than the SNES.

Game Boy had all region launches between 1989 and 1990, and the SNES was from 1990 to 1992

Just to clarify, it would be NES'.

Just think, you don't say; "That guy has two SOSes", you say "That guy has two SOS'". Its the same with NES.

The English Grammar system is so confusing...

My oldest system is the Game Boy. I stuck to owning handhelds until the Wii came out.
