Well this is my thread of poetry. When I first started writing I was about 13 years old. Sadly I lost most of my older works, but the good thing is I have a lot of recent things to share. I write mostly in one style, but from time to time I'll try other styles as well. A lot of my poems reflect my inner most thoughts and feelings so they can get pretty deep. I also tend to write things spiritual in nature but not always. I really hope those of you who do read these enjoy them. Right now I'm just trying to reorganize and get things looking nice.

If there are any spelling errors I do like to know so I can fix my poems. Sometimes it might be word choice and I used the wrong word. So please help me in this regard.

Loss for Words

Sitting, staring, bored at work
Nothing left to do
Left with thoughts in my mind
Sinking, Drowning, turning blue

Try as I might I can't figure things out
What went wrong I do not know
Wishing I could make things right
Sorry but I guess I'm slow

Something always has to go wrong
Never can I do things right
Internal struggles all the time
I'm always in a constant fight

This system's hard
What else can I say
I'm not perfect
But it won't always be this way

Hopefully things will pass
Yet there will always come something new
Doesn't mean we can't be friends
I'm always here for you

Beginning to End

In paradise was were we started
Life was good but then we parted
Cast aside for a sin committed
No longer to God was man submitted

As time passed by Prophets arose
Giving direction to where God goes
We survived the flood and bloomed anew
But once again our sins grew

Then came the wilderness and Gods command
Sadly though many died in the sand
Fighting giants we got a new King
His voice rang out as praises to God he would sing

Yet too noble man we can not trust
His time does pass and then he becomes dust
Captured once more and forced to serve
Four Hebrews knew from Jehovah not to swerve

Seventy years had come to pass
Our nation grew to quite a mass
Sent back to rebuild the temple grand
With Jehovah’s help we took our stand

Years went by and comfortable lives we had
When the Messiah came many got mad
Listen to him some did not
Sadly for them, Jehovah they forgot

With words of wisdom we were taught
So by the Bird catch we might not get caught
His life he gave for all mankind
That through him forgiveness we may find

We are now given the chance to pray
That each one to God will turn one day
Then soon Paradise we will again see
In this day happily ever after we will be

I really don't like haikus, but I did work on one with a friend a couple weeks ago and we used a 7 syllable word :O

Green Rider

There once was a rider dressed all in green
He was a lean mean fighting machine
Traveled the land of Hyrule he did
The land he grew up in as a young kid

Many a great battles he did once fight
Going through time he gave it his might
Collecting the pieces of the tri-force grand
Against big mean Gandorf he took his stand

Yet what is a warrior without a princess
He'd rescue Zelda always with success
The Hero of Time he came to be known
Our Green rider Link over the years he has grown

Hmm ... I thought I had already replied to your thread again, XD. All three of your stanzas certainly give good imagery, though. ^_^

Umm ... Curiosity question, XD: Would it be possible for you to put up one of your older poems here? The one I'm thinking of was originally in your first post on your NS2 thread (before that one was specifically moved/deleted), about Dark Link. The title of it slips my mind, though. I just remember that it was a very good poem, XD.

About Dark Link???? I don't remember ever having a poem like that. I have one about a Princess in distress and it's about Zelda and her alias.

I believe so. Based after his failure to remove Link in the Water Temple, I think. But, I may have been wrong. *Huggles*
