go into the computer, went into a GC emulator, and had a death
race with Mario, Boswer, and Drybones' teams with blooper by my side?
I totally blew up a Blue Shell by firing another one at it.

They only suck when I get hit by them.
But I don't think they should be taken out of the game, because I love Blue Shells xD

I hate them mostly because i usually am first unless i verse my 4 friends that are like pros at mkw

That is a superclever strategy.
I still hate the blue shells, though.

While racing online with my MKDS, I always keep an eye out for players who obtain the elusive blue shell.
When I'm in first place, I brake to slow down and allow the second place player to take a hold of the lead.

Then koopa shell is almost always deployed during the first few second of gaining it, so I must move fast.

Boom, the new leader becomes an instant loser and I pass to gain the lead once more without any loss in position.

Lol, that's what I do also. If they're too far behind though to let them pass, I usually just try to steer into them so they get affected by it also.

I also think there is a way to deflect the blue shell, I've seemed to been able to get out of the blast when they attack me...a few times.

Yes actually, if you get hit with an item like Lightning just as the shell is hitting you it won't do anything (since you will be in the animation of getting shrunk which actually takes longer then the Blue Shell impact one thus canceling it out). That has happened a few times to me, but like most things it all comes down to timing since the lightning has to hit you at just the right time to cancel out the blue shell.

I think blue shells should be on ground, travel a little faster than a red shell, and if it hits anything on it's way to the person in first, it's gone. That would make things a lot less cheap.

That's because I don't think that there is a way to fix it.

It's running a process, and it can't handle two animations on your character at one time.

There's probably ways they could cancel out the last animation being executed and put in the other one.

Either way one of the items would have no effect. I'd rather have the blue shell not effect me.

Actually, I wonder which causes you to lose more of a lead.

I guess it depends on the position of the other racers.

Well technically Lightning hits everyone in front of the person who fired it off. So everyone would be effect the same way right away, the rest would depend on the lead you have.

What if the person in second used it?

It would slow down the person in first.

I wonder how much turf they could capture while the person in first was stunned.

It's tough, because other racers always seem to get boos and steal things from me whenever I try to take good items to first place with me.

Also, mushrooms can allow you to escape a blue shell in MKWii if you time it right.
