Damn! The gas up here in MN has only maxed out to $2.99 after Obama was elected.

Around here in IL, gas prices are at the lowest of $3.07 and I live near the Chicago area, but they just keep increasing the closer to Chicago you get, probably around $3.30 or something like that, I would think.

Edit: In the past, I've seen gas prices go up to around $4.30 before they made the first drastic drop. It's just sad to see them rising again.

Lucky you. It's been over $3 here on a few occasions. I don't know why it was at the place I visited considering that this is not a "travel season" time frame but when I got back to my hometown gas was a few cents lower. Oh well, I'll survive.

The last things I bought were a whole bunch of things from Christmas shopping. I'd say, but a few people I know check, or could check, this place out. :P
I have one last thing to buy which is a gift for my friend.

That's why I love living in a more rural area. The gas here right now is only $2.67.

So lucky. I'm only in the suburbs though. But since I'm just on the outside of Chicago, with a connecting county, the prices are the same pretty much all around. Such as how I have the highest sales tax in the US here.

But uh...to contribute back to this thread.
I bought $5.00 for the price of a small brownie. Or in simpler terms, I sold a small brownie for 5 bucks. my 6 year old brother can't handle money well apparently. He also stole a brownie from me when I wasn't looking and i called him out on it. He lied to me about who took it, but still gave me another 5 bucks anyways. I don't know where he got the money from, but doesn't matter to me.
