I'm just really courious how much you guys have explored the added features to the 3DS.

AR cards and messing around with the mini games?
Face Raiders.. how far and top scores?
Mii plaza... do you like the puzzles or find mini game?
Camera and sound?
Swapnotes?

Any of the other features or featured games/ software and applications that are either packaged with the system or you can get free.

I LOVE Sawpnotes... I also like how they have the play coin set up so now I plan to keep my 3DS with me on sleep everywhere I go.

The only think that does make me sad is the streetpass for the find and puzzle mini games. I don't go to the mall much at all and hardly go places that carrying a 3DS would find me mii's. It would have been nice if all the Mii's I meet in the online games could be used as hired heros.

What about you guys?

I've used most of the features at least once (didn't have a chance to use my Samus and Pikmin AR cards or finish all the '?' games). Swapnote is by far the most addicting app so far. I wish it had a better reply system though...

I also agree with you about the Find Mii and Puzzle Swap games. Did you know that once you use a hero in Find Mii, you can't use them again? That's ridiculous!

Yeah I noticed that! I was like grrrrrr. I used 2 play coins today for the first battle, and then the second map you have to battle 2 so I couldn't continue with just the one hero.

I also used 5 coins on swapnotes today as well so right now I only have 3 coins left so I have to go walking or something to get more before I can hire two heros.

I haven't used any coins yet. I'd rather spend them on Swapnote and streetpass people for miis (even if it is a pain).

I'm wondering if the amount of coins you can get in a single day is capped. I got 10 today and I've gained like 1000 steps since then but I haven't got anymore coins.

I'm not really sure. I thought the cap was 3, but I got 10 yesterday. 8P

I'm going to guess it's 10 then lol. I had over 4000 steps today. If it's capped at 10 I can get 4K steps easy without doing much lol

Pre-installed applications lasted about, eh, a week for me. Haven't played any AR games, I don't participate in the Find Mii or Puzzle Swap, and Face Raiders. I only use Swapnote a lot because it's new, but I'm fairly certain my participation in it will fade (it already has, really, the messaging system seems somewhat archaic).

The truth of the matter is, you can have as many bells and whistles as you'd like, but what it really comes down to is games, which Nintendo has failed to sufficiently provide.

...unless computer generated relationships are your thing.

Well I'm sure the newness of the system will die down for me eventually and the 3 games I do have will hold me for quite some time so I'm happy I waited.

Swapnote might last if Nintendo improves it (ie. better reply system, chat, etc.). At least that's what I'm hoping. ._.;;

I doubt they will have a chat and the reply is a bit annoying since you only get one reply. >_< I wonder what kind of conversations they have over there.

"Hey how are you"
"Fine"
-end-

"How's the project going?"
"It's going"
-end-

I don't know what they were thinking >_<

Yeah I also don't see why we can't reply to our own notes. I have to comment everyone individually if they reply to me. -_-;;

Lol yeah the cap is definitely 10, they said that before it was released.

Anyway, haven't tried swapnotes, haven't even heard of it rofl. I like the puzzles and streetpass quest thing, especially now since they've updated them both considering I completed both within a week from getting my 3DS. The camera effects can be really fun if you have some friends who like playing with stuff like that. Haven't done anything to do with the sound editor, pretty boring for me. Face Raiders is a bit too frustrating to keep playing once you get further in, then too repeditive.

I'm still happy with everything it comes with though, even if theres a few things I don't really like/play. The AR games were fun for the short amount of time it took to complete them.

I think the sound editor will be great once I unlock it in swapnotes. You can send people recorded messages which will be a lot of fun. It takes 15 coins though to unlock. I have 13 right now so I'll be unlocking it today!

Um, I can't find Swapnotes anywhere. I downloaded, "Nintendo Letter Box" which sounds like what you are describing, however I can't see anything unlockable in the game/app.

When I downloaded it, it said swapnotes. And you only get unlockable things once you start sending notes.
