Saw this thread on NS2 and thought it would be neat to see what you guys have to say. And, well, I like scary.

So the scariest thing you've ever seen, can be a movie, video game, anything really.

Of course, scariest thing I've seen is probably the video game Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

How about you?

When I was raped as a child. I don't think much else could be scarier.

Is that really something you should post on a public forum, rhyme? I mean the fact you feel comfortable sharing that is, I guess, commendable seeing as rape is a really scary thing and is often hard to come to terms with even years after the fact for most. But this is a forum and not everyone will be comfortable suddenly knowing that happened in your past.
no.

Well it's the scariest thing I've ever seen. Not like I can unsee it. *shrugs* and I'm completely over it. Sadly this world is full of stuff like this happening all the time. We've had some pretty serious discussions on this forum so the fact that it is a forum shouldn't matter. The only difference here is rather then it just being some sad story you read or hear about, you can attach a person you might know a bit more about. Makes it seem more real nd personal that way. Everyone is different, but that is what makes us who we are.

Another scary thing I've seen is 4 black people surround this one white guy and shoot him in the head. I was hiding in a trash can when I heard the noise. Is seeing murder any better?

Or should I have said watching my mother through a TV at my dad and then proceeded to throw my dad out a window. He came back inside with blood pouring out his arm.

I've seen a lot of other scary things as we. How about my uncle dying and getting down to 54 pounds looking like a skullitain just before he gasped for his last breath. That was really scary too.

Many things ive seen in my life that no one should ever have to see, but it don't mind sharing.

Uuuh I don't think that's what Sara is trying to say. I mean it good you're able to get over such traumatic events but I think its a bit too much for you to be publicly sharing, especially when this thread is not trying to go into serious detail about traumatic events in your life. Its just something you shouldn't say unless its a serious discussion. How did you think people would respond to that when you posted it? People are either going to feel too awkward to post anything that scares them (i.e. ghosts, video games, whatever) and refrain from saying anything, pretend as if you didn't just say something that was far too inappropriate for such a topic (i.e. Razor Bern), or actually say something about what you posted. You're forcing us to acknowledge these incidents and link it to you even though it may be something we aren't looking to read when we're just moseying around the forums. Its not my business to know these things about you and it only makes things awkward. I'm not trying to say you should hide these things either, but to blatantly post them as if it was no big deal is the problem.

Well that is kind of just my personality I guess. The OP title is scariest thing you've ever seen. I took it literally. If the topic limited it to just video games and movies I would have picked something else. However it said anything, so I took that literally. I don't understand lines of appropriate and not and I take things at face value. Also I'm a 100% honest person so since I took the topic at face value and being literal I couldn't post anything other then what was really the scariest thing I ever saw. I suppose I could have avoided the topic all together and not posted. *shrugs* so sorry if I did make this awkward. That wasn't my intention.

The scene in Home Alone 2 where one of the bad guys gets electrocuted and they show his skeleton while he twitches and screams made me forever afraid of electrocution. I was maybe three or four when I watched it.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I still can't believe what he did to Japan. The Earth Quack was just too harsh.

Sometimes you just have to do something to make a change. It doesn't matter if it makes it better or worse but that's the way is. That's why we aren't angels.

This is the best scene in the entire movie and you know it.

Might not be the scariest thing I ever saw but it was the first thing that came to my mind for this. That stinking PS3 Baby commercial.

Seriously what where you thinking with this one Sony -_-
