Yippy! Now more people can play! This game will work a lot like the Pokemon Pictionary game that is already here, but we will do this game as 5 rounds at a time so that it doesn't last as long.
How does this game work?
Well it's like any other pictionary game, but with only Nintendo references. At times I might throw out something that isn't Nintendo but still video game related. If something is going to be really hard I'll probably give you at least the theme, but we'll just have to see as the rounds progress.
How can we play this on a forum?
Easy, I'm going to use DeviantArts drawing function to draw part of the image. You will get a max of 3 hints. You send your guess via PM. (Please make one PM for all your guesses and have it titled Pictionary games) Hints will stay up for about 2 days sometimes a little longer. You earn points based on which day you send in your PM, meaning which hints are already up.
Rules:
1) No giving the answer out in the thread. You can give misleading answers or razz the other players, but if you give out an answer in the thread you get -5 points for yourself and each player who has points on the board will gain 3 points each.
2) Wrong guesses will get you -minus points depending on which hint you are making your guess on.
3) Hint break down:
Hint 1 = 5 points (-3 points if you get it wrong)
Hint 2 = 4 points (-2 points if you get it wrong)
Hint 3 = 3 points (-1 point if you get it wrong)
4) There is no rule against doing image searches and trying to find the answer.
Each game will last 5 rounds. As for a prize, we'll have to see how many participate. I'm hoping for an award in our award system.
You can jump in and play at any point. If you feel like drawing for a round or two then just send me a PM and I would be glad to let someone else draw.
