Alright, so my aunt gave me a gift code for iTunes for a really late Christmas gift, and I wasn't sure what to get. First, though, I went to get some new music, since I figured it was time to update my library a little bit. I got two new albums to add to my library with about $5 to spare. Afterward, I felt that since I didn't really have enough money to get a new album or Mac App Store game, I may as well go to the iOS App store and see what was there. Well, I stumbled across this game that came up in my App Store Genius recommendations, called Mage Gauntlet.

How do I describe Mage Gauntlet? Well, I've only really played a little bit of it so far, but I was hooked right away. The game is like an Apple version of A Link To the Past. I don't really want to go into detail since I might spoil too much of it, but it's set in a stereotypical magical world with mages and stuff, and this girl, Lexi, has what is like a curse; she seems to be the only one whom can't use any magic, or touch anything magical, because it blows up in her face. But, with the help of this gauntlet, she can take magical energy from the environment and summon them in mini spells. Now, since I'm not very far in the game myself, I can't say much more, but I recommend you try this out. It is currently $2.99 in the App Store.

That actually seems like a pretty neat game, especially for something that can be played on a cell phone. I like how the main character is a girl, too.

If I had an iPhone I'd probably get it.

Do you have an Android device? They may have it for the Android market too.
Anyway, somebody did a review on it if you want a little insight:

Well, poop. Maybe you should go get yourself an iPod Touch or something if you have about $200 or so.

True, I know the feeling since I have no job and no income whatsoever.
