As I am posting a comment in a thread, I cannot make my font size bigger, add emotes, make the text bold, italic, etc.

What is going on here? I don't know if this issue has been addressed already; if so, I apologize.

And I'm not sure if anyone has this issue too.

Perhaps you accidentally switched to BBCode mode (the little switch in the top left corner). That's the only thing I can think of.

Most likely this. However, I have noticed that shortcuts like ctrl-b to make text bold don't work (at least for me).

Actually, it's a confirmed bug with the new version, so the IP Board company will hopefully be fixing it soon.

You don't need to wait though since modifying text works just fine.

What internet browser are you using?

Also, can you print-screen the text editor like what I'm doing for this post?

I'm using Google Chrome. I can try Firefox.

Alright try Firefox (that's what I'm using and it works fine for me), also I guess you didn't see because I edited my post above while you were making your post, but could you print screen the text editor if it doesn't work on Firefox please?

Stupid Google Chrome.

EDIT: So it's a browser issue...

While Toadeh gave this advice, maybe NQ skipped over it? If it works for Slasher on Google Chrome, that would be the most likely explanation (which is why I wanted a screenshot to see if that "switch" was toggled to use BBCode).

I know Chrome has it's issues, however, I feel like it looks nicer than Firefox. I love the Ad Block Pro on Chrome.

if how a browser looks really means that much to you, you could just make firefox look like chrome.

Yes looks are important to me. My Firefox seems like it has a ton of useless toolbars, and I find Chrome easier to manage.

If you think FF has a lot of toolbars... at least you don't use IE. :v

Although removing toolbars is easy and the guide Switch linked to actually helps with that too. So that you can have Firefox functionality with the same look of Chrome.

Personally though. I've always had trouble managing Chrome. I still can't figure out where everything is and it makes me go through various loops to do things that I can do with a simple click on Firefox (Like bookmarking/favorites for example). I only use Chrome for testing compatibility issues. :v
