I've actually been on break from One Piece and will soon be getting back to it. The anime though. Just finished the Skypiea saga, so I've been resting a while before getting into the next saga.
I've also been on and off reading Liar Game. I'm in the fourth game qualifier arc now, the Pandemic Game. It's such a clever manga, and full of good drama, Death Note style gambits and whatnot, but a bit more to get your head around than in Death Note, which from what I remember was easy enough to follow without having to stop and make sure you understood everything before moving on.
Anime-wise I'm juuust about done watching Michiko to Hatchin with my friend in America. Otherwise I've kind of got my focus on watching Kaiji, though I haven't been really watching it very actively. I have a bunch of started and unfinished shows I have to continue on, but I put them off for now until I get through Kaiji.
Airing shows I'm watching are (in order of best to least best):
- Shinsekai Yori*
- Space Brothers
- Polar Bear's Café
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
- Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic
- Little Busters!
- Tamako Market
Though Tamako Market is still good, it just falls short of the others. As I said; best to least best.
*They're all plot-heavy action dramas which all end next week, and so my impression is heightened by cliffhanger penultimate episodes. Space Brothers for example will probably end up favoured above those, but there's not a whole lot going on in it at the moment.
