#336889 The Legend of Zelda: Blood Canyon

Posted by ZeldaSageofFire on 14 June 2017 - 08:20 PM

Thank you kind sir. I've had Ch. 2 sitting about halfway finished for several days, and I should be finishing it up probably tomorrow or Friday. I'm really digging this new idea I had, and I'm going to run with it for as long as I can. There should be new stuff up really soon. :)

#336869 Wii U help

Posted by ZeldaSageofFire on 06 June 2017 - 04:00 PM

Yeah, if there's no visible signs of wear and tear on the disc, it's probably something in your console. It could be overheating, especially if it sounds like your fan is making noise. If you have things resting on the console, or if it's very enclosed or super dusty, that can all cause it too. OR, it could be a problem with your save data, like the data is corrupt or didn't save/install properly. So there's a few different ways to approach it.

#335399 Warcraft 3 Game night?

Such this.

Holy crap, I'd love me a good WarCraft III night. I'm all over this, if this is still a thing.

#332365 Nintendo NX

Posted by ZeldaSageofFire on 24 July 2015 - 10:23 AM

I think that's Nintendo's way of saying that their new home console is on the way, the random lack of support even by them. There's a few titles here and there that are coming out, but I think they're going to drop it in favor of the NX, which really wouldn't surprise me. And as long as I can still play all my old games with backwards compatibility, I don't really care. Thankfully, Nintendo is the only company to not completely screw up with backwards compatibility, so I'm not really worried about that.

If they can match or better the Xbox One or PS4 for power, and they welcome third party developers BEFORE it's released to dive into the hardware and make their games for it, I think the NX can succeed where the Wii U really hasn't. But only time will tell.

This is probably one of the most impressive Zelda metal covers I've come across, and that's saying something. I come across a lot of Zelda metal covers.

Yes, lol. Dragonforce has so many great songs. <3

Thank you. Just thank you.

I'm glad I'm not the only sane one, who likes, Heart of the dragon. xD;;;

While I have no new pictures of myself to show today, but I saw this picture yesterday, and it describes me quite adequately. Even if you're not familiar with the British tv show Sherlock, the point comes across quite well, and I know a couple of you will definitely get it.

Oh baby. This song, every day.

I usually don't care for stuff of that style, but I may have that song in my head all night now...

As for a song I am currently hooked on...

Power Metal. \m/ <3

Tai, you just became my favorite person on this page of this thread. Blind Guardian <3

It's a bit late, but I had some fun last Sunday. I was playing drums. And in the space of five minutes or so, this little guy, a blood blister, both formed AND popped. It really didn't feel too good. Made for a gnarly pic though. xD

#285904 Best Videogame of the Decade?

Posted by ZeldaSageofFire on 30 November 2012 - 05:31 PM

Looks like it's time to cast your votes gamers!

Nominations are:
"The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker"
"Half-Life 2"
"World of Warcraft"
"Shadow of the Colossus"
"Wii Sports"
"Mass Effect 2"
"Red Dead Redemption"
"Batman: Arkham City"

So which game are you voting for and why?

Well. I can tell you which games I wouldn't want to vote for, based on the strikes. A bunch of the games on there have come out in the last couple years. Red Dead Redemption? Really? Mass Effect 2? The weakest game in that franchise? Batman: Arkham City? Has it even been out for a year yet? Half-Life 2? Um... It's Valve. I'm in no way, shape, or form a fan of Valve, so that almost gets crossed off my personal list by default. I understand a lot of people like it, but most of those people tend to be die-hard Valve fanboys. Portal... Portal was too short, quite frankly. It was enjoyable and fun, but it took me roughly 3-4 hours to beat it. Portal 2, I couldn't even really play. After the ridiculous co-op advertisement campaign, I lost all interest.

Bioshock was good, but not that good. It was a unique twist on a science fiction shooter game and it was brilliant, but not Game of the Decade worthy. Shadow of the Colossus was another good and solid game that was brilliant, but in my opinion can't really hold up to a couple other games on this list, because it sort of came out and was just...there. It didn't spawn any sequels, it didn't become a franchise, it really wasn't influential. Wii Sports... I'm not entirely sure why it's even on the list. It's a great way to pass the time, and it was really cool that Nintendo packaged it in with ever Wii console. But Game of the Decade?

Now, on to the 2 games I didn't strike out.

World of Warcraft - Why would I keep this game? Because it came out in 2004, and it's still being updated and played by a ridiculously large amount of people. It became the mold that probably half the PC games coming out are based upon. It showed just how large a game world could become, and that a game doesn't have to become outdated and forgotten years after its release. Plus it's incredibly fun to play. Yes, some will say it's mindless. But sometimes mindless is fun. I like the charming, not-too-realistic graphics style. I love that you can choose from 13 races, pick a class, and literally just become an inhabitant of this massive game world.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Honestly, of all the games on that list, I think this one is the most deserving of the title Game of the Decade, and an argument could be made that it's most deserving simply because it's a Zelda title. Zelda games have always been in the upper echelon of games, even titles that are controversial, like TWW was when it was released. People criticized the childish look of Link and the "toony" cel-shaded graphics, but I think that served to only make the game better. It got some of the highest reviews of any game that came out that year, 2003, if not the highest reviews. It was a brilliant game. This game is the one that would get my vote first and foremost.

I have to say I don't know. While there are some good choices, there are still some games I wish were on the list like Metroid Prime. So yeah can't really pick to be honest with you.

^ This. Honestly, if Metroid Prime was on that list, I wouldn't have even thought. I would have said MP. But it wasn't on that list, along with some other conspicuous no-shows, like an entry in the Halo series, Elder Scrolls, or even a game in the Final Fantasy or Tales of... franchises.

Slasher showed me that song. And my gosh, it was addicting. It would even pop in my head for no reason.
Anyways, glad it made you happy. C: I should get into more songs you like.

I'm the one who showed Slasher that song. xD I veritably demanded that SOMEONE listen to it and be obsessed with it with me. <3 Because I love the song, and I sing it all the time, lol.

Let's all be honest here, how many of us actually listen to the videos that are posted? I'm curious. Because I listen to the ones I know. Haha. Whoops. :x

I'm kind of in the same boat as Switch. Hardly anyone here posts videos with music that fits my preferred listening style, so I kind of skip over them. I saw Sunny posted "Brass Goggles" by Steam Powered Giraffe a few days ago, so that makes me happy. xDD I adore that song.

Without any further ado...
