#336994 Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon

Posted by Autumn on 17 August 2017 - 07:25 AM

I have all the mega stones, but no one to use them on as I did not bother transferring any Pokemon over and I got rid of my PokeBank. And, I have beat Moon quite a while ago, well the main story. I did not get all the Pokemon in the game yet as I got sidetracked when I was making eggs and leveling some up to evolve. Thanks, Sanji.

#336985 Check Out These Books!

Of course! I posted the Amazon links. ^_^

Thanks, Sanji. Well, that is me paying attention lol.  I was so busy reading about the stories that I forgot to check out anything else.

I did. Can you buy them? Not that I can afford anything at the moment but I love to read and am always interested in something new by up and coming authors.

#336971 What game did you play today?

Posted by Autumn on 07 August 2017 - 11:52 AM

In any given day I may play up to four different games, that is until The Game comes along. The game I cannot put down because it is just that awesome.

So, I have been playing Miitopia, lol this game makes me laugh a lot. It is not deep, not hard, not terribly long, but it is amusing.

I also have been playing Hey Pikmin, also not too long, not hard, well unless you count all the time I waste being sad that I let a Pikmin turn into a little Pikmin ghost. :( I just love Pikmin so had to have this game.

Also, Mononoke Forest, cute, a bit frustrating as things you have built get destroyed by weather or the baddies.

RPG Player, well this will never end because there are always new Free games being created to play.

River City Knights of Justice, just because I have never played a brawling type game before and it is kinda fun and nutty.

Urban Trail Freestyle 2, again, because I had never played this type of game and it is fun, the demo got me hooked. I suck at it, but that is ok because I laugh a lot each time I get my biker gets into an accident, hung up on fences, falls to his death, or just gets squashed by his bike. I really should not laugh. :P

I was playing Mutant Mudds, hard. Also, Yoshi's Wolly World, Elliot Quest and Mario and Luigi Paper Jam and Gunman Clive,  Not finished any of those.

But, the one game I must get back to is Xenoblade Chronicles. Wow, a long game, not easy in the later stages but thoroughly wonderful to play.

Yeah, I play a ton of games. I will always try out new cheap games if I think there is a slight chance I may find them fun and I have a host of my very faves that I keep an eye in case a new one comes along.

#336969 Yo-kai Watch 2(third game) Psychic Specters -this Fall.

Posted by Autumn on 07 August 2017 - 10:59 AM

Everyone knows about the new Pokemon games coming out in November 2017, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but did you know there is a new Yo-kai Watch game coming out in Sept. 2017? Because who would not rather collect Yo-kai than Pokemon? I love both games actually, but Yo-kai are something special and very fun.

Yo-kai are those little spirits, ghosts, demons in Japanese lore that can be helpful but, mostly they cause mischief. If you are having a bad day put it down to a Yo-kai being near you.

This new game, Psychic Specters is the third in the series of Yo-kai Wach 2. It is a single game that ties into the first two Bony Spirits/Fleshy Souls. It will take place in the same areas and it has the same time traveling from present to the past, as the other two games had. In this game, you will find out a bit more about how Yo-kai came to be and answers to more burning questions you may have had about Yo-kai.

There will be new Yo-kai and new trains, new areas, and new quests.

Quests are a big part of Yo-kai Watch games, it is good to be helpful and often times people are having a hard time and need your help because of those prankster loving Yo-kai.

I love Yo-kai Watch games. They are fun, quirky, beautiful, and I love the battle system.

The battle system for Yo-kai Watch is not standard and not everyone has fallen in love with it. Some people think that you as the player are not taking charge and just watching your Yo-kai do their thing. The same could be said for Pokemon, you choose a Pokemon you choose to attack and you choose a move. Unless a game is real time battle you are always going to be watching your characters battle.

I find the pace fast and you have to be always watching to see when you can unleash your best moves when you need to heal or give a healing item and you have to spin that wheel as some Yo-kai are better at dealing with certain types of enemies. Many of the battles can be challenging. While this is all going on your are also trying to "catch" get a new Yo-kai to join you, and this is hit or miss, though there are things you can do to up the chances of befriending a Yo-kai.

You have a maximum of 6 Yo-kai that you battle with. You can set up any Yo-kai that you want to use on a wheel, place them next to other Yo-kai of the same Tribe (Slippery Tribe, Eerie, Heartful, and so on)  to get a boost. Yo-kai have attitudes, much like Pokemon natures, and you can boost attitude or in some cases change it with special books you buy or find.

While in battle you can spin the wheel so that your top three are in combat, this gives you many combinations to select to be the most effective. The wheel battle system is fast and can be furious in a boss battle. The Yo-kai battle in auto mode, but there is a special attack that is a Soultimate move, when the Soultimate gauge is full you perform an action on the bottom 3DS screen with your stylus and your Soultimate move will be unleashed.

What new Yo-kai await Nate and what new stories will be told?

I am very excited to play this new addition to the Yo-kai Watch games.

#336966 RPG Maker FES-Player-Games that are worth playing.

Posted by Autumn on 06 August 2017 - 02:42 PM

The RPG Player is free to download on the 3DS, you can also download the DLC content for free, just go to download contents and the update will be there.

I have been playing free games since this came out and there are some good ones out there. I will list the completed games first, because who really wants to play a non-complete game. The games are limited in length but, there are some games I have played for over 5 hours so I think that is not too bad.

Complete games worth playing:

Coexistence-3121-creator Bizz. A space type game.

Apartment 412-39356-creator Aleph. A short mystery, solve puzzles, passwords.

Earth's Final Hour DX-187-creator A.Crossland. You have an hour to get what you need to save yourself, a fetch quest that is really zany and fun. Multiple ending scores. I got B. I love this game. A.Crossland makes great games.

Downfall FES-891-creator ƒJosh. His own original story creation. Puzzles, passwords. Good game.

13th Helloween-2388-creator-M. Burnside. A horror story with puzzles.

Unnatural Selection-187-creator A.Crossland. Excellent horror/mystery story, puzzles.

The Vampire Must Die-2388-creator M. Burnside. Horror, puzzles. He is a real life writer and he is working on the third game.

Return to the Skies-898-an RPG, short but sweet. Looks like there could be a sequel.

Not Complete-well worth a look.

Mother Nature by A. Crossland. This one will be quite long and he is working on it.

Universal Voyage by Bizz.

The Dark Ages.Reverse RPG, the main boss is on a quest.

The Chrononaut by Space.

Biohazard-9373, zombies.  Not sure if complete as I keep getting killed by zombies. :o

Epic chicken quest-40286. Funny, unconventional RPG. Yes, you play as a chicken.

Knight of T.K.T.- 27827. RPG with some adult humour.

Bad Day-239-zombies.

RPG Island (Demoƒ) -5508. Different, you are playing an RPG, you are actually at an RPG festival, and within it are RPG portals.

That is it for now.

There are a lot of bad games, bad spelling, which does not bother me too much, and just bad glitches.

I have been thinking about getting the RPG Maker Fes for fall or winter and create my own game, but I believe it is quite difficult to use as there are no tutorials. Perhaps by then, there will be a lot of help vids up on YouTube.

#336961 Bears, it is all about the Bears.

Posted by Autumn on 02 August 2017 - 02:45 PM

Thanks, Sanji. I find I can't do a lot most places these days because I am on a very old mac and I cannot get a new computer at the moment. I am still watching bears, playing tons of games, reading so many books it is crazy and trying to keep cool in our heatwave. :)

Here are three of my newest paintings of bears.

https://goo.gl/photo...ojEEi42bDTCpHQ7  Velcro and mom on a waterfall, I actually had this put on T-shirts for Xmas.

https://goo.gl/photo...c7A4KwKAfJLF8MA   This one is called memories as 273 the mom of Velcro remembers the fun with her cub.

https://goo.gl/photo...rZq5e23YpHm6XM6  This is memories 2, Velcro sees his moms reflection in a pool of water.

It is August now and I have been watching the bears since the first of July. There are a lot of cubs and subadults this year, they have taken over the falls area from the big guys. It is fun to watch. Velcro has been emancipated so we see him from time to time fishing alone, playing with other subadults and just generally getting the feel for being a single bear now.

#336362 Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon

Posted by Autumn on 22 November 2016 - 05:59 PM

@Autumn How did you avoid all the spoilers?

I always do this with Pokemon and Yokai Watch and new Zelda games. I refuse to read anything about the new games. My friends know not to tell me anything and I pass over any mention of the game. Once I have played the main story of the game then I will start searching out things I may have missed or just information like new breeding techniques. I really love Pokemon, to me, it is a wonderful adventure and I never want that spoiled, I want to be amazed. I am sure being amazed with this Moon.

I really ignore most things about any new game that I know I will get, but if I am unsure if I will like a game as in a new franchise then I will read just a bit.

#336169 What game did you play today?

Posted by Autumn on 23 September 2016 - 05:36 PM

Yep. I mainly just train up guys and work on saving up coins. But it's worth it. Just got Alakazite. So that'll come in handy. Played a bit today, and hoping to game a bit tonight after getting some chores done.

Yea I'm working on my first playthrough of DQ 9 and 7 is definitely on my list along with 8. The series is pretty neat so far.

I played 9 and LOVED it. I will get 8 too, but I gather and from playing 9 and now 7, each DQ is quite different.

Dragon Quest 7. What an amazing game. It is beautiful. Some very heartfelt stories so far and a few surprises as well. :O In some ways it really reminds me of Zelda games, the temples, some of the puzzles and of course that green clad hero. He is so cute. This is the type of game I find myself falling into as if I was actually in the game and not just playing it. I hope Dragon Quest 8 next year is as amazing, I don't know why it should not be. I played Dragon Quest 9, my first and only DQ game and I fell in love with it.

Today Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice. It is as zany as ever and I am loving every minute of it. I finished up 7th Dragon, wow, I want more games like this. I also got Adventure Labyrinth Story because I loved Bar Story. Hmm it is strange yet I want to see how far I can make it in that crazy labyrinth, it is not easy. :)  And I am all set up for Dragon Quest 7 next Thursday, then zooming onto the end of the month when I can get Yokai Watch 2. It is a very game heavy month for me.

#336030 what are you watching

Posted by Autumn on 30 August 2016 - 08:37 PM

So I watched Nirvana in fire and I thought it was interesting and action. Which is cool, since I like action movies. Thank you for showing it to me. I really enjoyed the first episode. And I hope I can continue watching it.

It just gets better and better. A bit mystery, a bit psychological thriller after a fashion. I hope you continue to enjoy it. :)

That looks awesome and adorable.

Edit: So I started to watch what you just posted and I gotta say it's cute and funny. But it's too clique. Ahhhhh. No, I'm kidding about that part. It just it's so obvious, like running into the door, being loud in a quiet room, etc.

I believe it is meant to be a bit obvious. I am not sure what the writer was intending but it seems to me that it is addressing a lot of things. Oh, and a network here is making noises about something...perhaps they will pick it up as a series and we can all enjoy more. That was the hopeful goal of this little project. And I have to say for a short film they packed a lot into it.

#336019 what are you watching

Aha! A captive audience. :) Here is something special. Short, probably an hour in total, in 6 episodes. All filmed here where I live. Starring one of my friends that I worked with over a few years. He is in England now he went to study at LAMDA. He plays James, the friend of Ollie. So Ollie and Emma.

Hope you enjoy it.
